How to Burn Image With DVDShrink Software!!

Taking back up of a DVD can be an arduous task. Online tools such as imgBurn and DVDshrink software can get it done within few seconds and make the job easier than ever. The ImgBurn software rips the DVD and burns the video files. It converts the video files in to ISO images and saves it on DVD. DVDShrink software allows you to choose a dual-layer DVD and compress it to the size of a single layer DVD. By using both software together, you can easily take a backup of a non-copy protected DVD.

Instructions
  • Download the DVDshrink software from the net and install it. Get ImgBurn software too from the net. Insert the DVD you want to take back up into the DVD burner of your computer.

  • Now, open ImgBurn and select “Create Image File from disc” option. The software will load the information from the DVD.

  • Select a location to save the disc image. Click the icon appearing on the lower left corner of the program. ImgBurn first take the back up in the form of 1:1 ISO copy of the DVD. The entire process won’t take 10-20 minutes to convert video files into ISO image.

  • Now, Open DVD shrink software. Choose “File” option from the top task bar and click on “Open Disc Image”. The software will first analyze and open the ISO files.

  • Select “edit” on the top task bar and choose “preferences”. Generally, DVDShrink software is compatible with Nero as it is a default program. As you want to use ImgBurn instead of Nero, disable Nero. To disable Nero, click the file I/O tab and uncheck the “Enable Burning with Nero” option.

  • Select “Backup” from the top of the DVDShrink window. Click on “ISO Image file” from the drop-down menu, and select a location for the new ISO image. Once you click on “OK” and the compression software will start ripping the original ISO to a single-layer ISO.

  • Open the ImagBurn once again and select “Write Image File to Disc”. Insert a blank single layered DVD into your burner.

  • Choose the newly ripped ISO image from the top of the ImgBurn window. Burn the ISO image to the DVD by clicking on the icon appearing at the lower left corner of the ImgBurn window.
